New Hampshire state Senator Andy Sanborn is scheduled to introduce US Senator Rand Paul Wednesday at his presidential campaign’s Granite State kickoff.

Paul is expected to officially announce his White House bid Tuesday in his home state of Kentucky before visiting early presidential nominating states like Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina later in the week.

In New Hampshire, Paul will hold a noontime rally in Milford.

Sanborn, a three-term senator from Bedford, is the highest-ranking local elected official in the state’s “liberty movement” faction of the Republican Party. In 2012, Sanborn served as the New Hampshire co-chairman of Ron Paul’s campaign for president.
